Showcasing his dynamic songwriting, strong vocals and intricate finger-style guitar work, Jordan's performance had the music students rapt. If Jordan's workshop had one message it was this: “Play music for the love, do what makes you happy. Have a wicked time and enjoy it. Don’t do it for the money, do it for the love and the free hotel rooms”, he said.
Music Director Mike Gowland said, “Workshops like this are held to give the music students an insight into musical performance and an opportunity to talk to, and interact with, a variety of working musicians, people who are out there doing it every day”.
Students who attended the workshop left with a greater idea of the music industry and ways they could be a part of it.
