Sunday, the 3th of May, the South's Music students perform at the Growers Green Market. Students from years 7 to year 12 performed a variety of songs, showcasing the learning and effort through the year.
Playing and performing in front of a different crowd and at a different venue really helped the new and younger students, giving them valuable performance experience.
The Growers Green has a very different feel from other performances and a very different type of audience. This was good, it helped students stretch their skills as musicians. Music student and head girl Jessah Sta-Ana said “it makes me feel very proud to see the young talents and all the learning that comes with it in action.”
“it was really fun playing in the Growers Green Market And a very good experience for the younger kids.” said year 10 Music student, Phillippa Bialas
With children running around, parents sitting down chatting and laughing, it was a very relaxing day helping the students performing to enjoy the event.
